IPS South Bay

This is a project of the Institute for Public Strategies, a nonprofit providing services and technical assistance to prevent Substance Use Disorders (SUD) in the South Bay since 2008. Our vision is to foster safe, secure and vibrant communities where everyone can thrive. Through our work, we encourage, support and promote healthy behaviors that reduce drug and alcohol-related harms at a population level, rather than individual-based programs and interventions.

IPS South Bay primarily works in the cities and communities of Chula Vista, Coronado, Imperial Beach, National City, Otay Mesa and San Ysidro but we also conduct SUD prevention-related activities in the unincorporated parts of the South Bay upon request.
